Humana appoints Hans Dahlgren as new CEO and Business Area Manager for Humana Assistans
Humana AB has appointed Hans Dahlgren CEO of Humana Assistans, effective today, August 21, 2023. Hans Dahlgren most recently served in the role as Director of Quality, Communications and Development at Humana.
Hans Dahlgren has many years of experience from Swedish social and political sector not least from health and social care. He has, among other things, held leading positions in the Swedish Parliament, Praktikertjänst, Vårdföretagarna, Team Olivia and the Swedish Medical Association. Humana's President and CEO Johanna Rastad believes that Hans Dahlgren has the skills and qualities required to lead not only Humana Assistans, but also take the lead for personal assistance in Sweden.
- Hans Dahlgren’s experience of leading large results driven operations as well as extensive network and solid knowledge of the industry will be great assets. Together with Hans, I look forward to continuing to develop the industry towards a return to the intentions of the LSS reform, says Johanna Rastad.

Hans Dahlgren will assume his position today, August 21, 2023, and will continue to be a member of Humana's Group Executive Management and retain parts of previous areas of responsibility, such as communications and real estate.
The leaving CEO, Andreas Westlund, has worked at Humana Assistans for fifteen years, most recently five years as CEO. He planned to leave the role earlier this year but extended his commitment due to the process of Humana Assistans' permit during the spring.
- Andreas Westlunds' enormous competence and confidence, both internally and externally, was extremely important during a difficult time, says Johanna Rastad.
Andreas Westlund will take on a new Group-wide role in the organisation.
