Code of conduct and overall documents

Humana has three overall documents that give details of Humana’s values and operational principles. These overall documents comprise:

Rules of procedure

Humana also has several sets of procedures for the company’s governing bodies. These are:

  • Rules of procedure for the Board of Directors
  • Instructions for the CEO
  • Policies for the Board committees, i e for the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee

Operative governing documents

Humana's internal rules and processes are compiled in Humana's operative governing documents. These documents govern how the business is run and shall support Humana to work in accordance with our values and principles and to achieve our goals in a desired and effective way. The governing documents apply to every aspect of Humana’s operations and consist of:

  • Finance policy
  • IT policy
  • Communication policy (including instructions for share market information)
  • Insider trading policy
  • Finance handbook
  • Policies relating to employee issues, such as salary policy, equality policy and car policy 

In addition to the governing documents described above that apply to the whole Group, each Business Area also has its own governing documents.

Sustainability policies

Humana has identified six areas of sustainability that are the most relevant to us from a sustainability perspective and based on the fact that Humana is a company that is providing care with people in focus. Within each of our six sustainability areas, we describe our ambitions and our objectives in a policy. Our six sustainability areas are (note, some of them are also mentioned above):
