Humana will build a new elderly care home in Norrtälje
Humana is building a new elderly care home in Norrtälje harbour with 80 apartments. Construction will be carried out with the partner Arwidsro Samhällsfastigheter. On the property there will also be a parking garage and three premises on the ground floor. The work begins in the summer of 2019 with planned occupancy during the spring of 2021.
The elderly care home in Norrtälje harbour will be Humana's eighth elderly care home under own management.

Humana attaches great importance to the design of the functions in the apartments as well as the common areas such as gym, sauna and common room with rooftop terrace. Each department also has a large communal kitchen and living room. In addition, there is a shared terrace and balcony on each floor. The accommodation is decorated with the latest technology in lighting that is regulated according to the circadian rhythm. The ambition is that the building will be environmentally certified as silver standard.
Norrtälje is a rapidly growing municipality where the transformation of the harbour area is Norrtälje's largest urban development project ever - a natural extension and doubling of Norrtälje's city center. The property's location right by Norrtälje harbour combines a fantastic view with a modern new neighbourhood with a focus on sustainability.
