Humana wins contract in Borås
Humana Omsorg AB has won a contract from the City of Borås to run the group home Trollgårdsgatn 1. The two-year agreement is valid from 1 February 2016 with the possibility of an additional two-year extension.
Humana will work closely with the City of Borås and union representatives to ensure a smooth transition. Initially, Humana will focus on providing residents, relatives and staff with information about Humana and the takeover process.
“We are very pleased that Humana is going to run Trollgårdsgatan 1 and look forward to getting to know the residents and employees,” says Emanuel Södervall, Acting Divisional Manager, Group Homes.
The decision to award the contract was taken on 28 October by the City of Borås’ Social Services Committee.
Humana currently runs 34 group homes with special services for adults in three municipalities. Humana distinguishes itself foremost for its active efforts with core values suited to its group home operations.
