Humana transfers part of its home care business to Attendo
Attendo will take over Humana’s home care business in Solna, Sollentuna and Stockholm’s inner city on 1 March. Customers who currently have Humana as a care provider in their homes will now be cared for by Attendo. The agreement also means that just over 140 people who are employed by Humana will instead be offered employment with Attendo.
Attendo’s takeover of Humana’s operations in the City of Stockholm include home care operations in the districts of Kungsholmen, Norrmalm and Östermalm.
The purpose of the transfer is to consolidate Humana’s home care operations in order to ensure the success of the long-term plans and investments that Humana has made in the area of elderly care. The reason for choosing Atttendo was to ensure a secure future for clients, employees and subcontractors with a stable supplier that would take over the staff and use the same collective agreement.
