Nerman has been part of Humana's Group Management since January 2014. The CEO succession also sees the company's CFO Ulf Bonnevier take on the role of Deputy CEO.

Since becoming CEO of Humana in 2006, Per Granath has taken the company from being a local assistance company in Örebro to becoming one of the main players in care in Sweden and Norway, with leading positions in personal assistance and individual and family care. At the same time, both revenue and operating profit have increased more than tenfold. During Per Granath's leadership, Humana has developed a distinctive value-driven corporate culture. Humana has committed employees, highly satisfied customers and good leadership. All these factors ensure that developments will continue to be positive.

Per Båtelson, Chairman of the Board of Humana: “I want to thank Per for all the dedication, time and knowledge he has invested in leading and bringing Humana to the strong position the company has today. The Board has come to know Rasmus Nerman over the last few years and looks forward to him taking the baton and continuing to develop Humana's potential.”

Per Granath comments: “It has been a privilege for me to be part of this fantastic journey and I am proud of everything we have accomplished together at Humana. The unique, positive atmosphere that exists at Humana has made me love this job and I will miss the daily contact with my wonderful colleagues. I wish Rasmus and all the Humana employees luck as they continue the journey.”

Rasmus Nerman comments: “I am delighted at the confidence placed in me and really look forward to taking on a clearer role in Humana's future development. In my years working at Humana and close to Per Granath, my image of Humana as a leading player has been reinforced and I see that we continue to have a major role to play with the need for private care players increasing. Humana is a unique Nordic company and in recent years much work has been invested in creating a strong platform for the future. I look forward to building on this further, together with all our employees, in our efforts to be the Nordic region's leading care company.”
