Ulrika Östlund new Chairman of the Association of Private Care Providers

Ulrika Östlund, a director-elect on Humana’s board, was elected as Chairman of the Association of Private Care Providers at the association’s annual meeting yesterday. She is a former President and CEO of INOM.

The Association of Private Care Providers is a trade and employer organisation representing some 2,000 companies with more than 90,000 full-time equivalent employees in the private care and nursing sector.

“I look forward to my assignment with great confidence and commitment,” comments Ulrika Östlund, the newly elected Chairman of the Association of Private Care Providers. “I hope going forward to encourage debate about quality and customer satisfaction rather than about various ownership forms.”

Ulrika Östlund will be formally elected as a director on Humana’s board on Monday, 19 May.
