Humana expands its home care operations in 14 municipalities

2013-10-01 12:00

Humana Hemtjänst AB is today taking over the home care operations from Carema in a total of 14 municipalities. The change will not entail any personnel changes for the customers involved.

Effective 1 October, Human is expanding its home care operations. In a total of 14 municipalities, Humana will be taking over as the provider of home care services instead of Carema, with Linköping Municipality representing the largest unit with nine offices. Other large assignments are in the Greater Stockholm area, Gävle, Västerås, Karlstad and Nyköping. The change will not entail any personnel changes for the customers involved.

“We are happy to extend a welcome to our new colleagues and customers to Humana,” comments Patrik Thulin, Head of Home Care Services at Humana. “It will be an uneventful transition, as the customers will keep their same home care personnel as before. Continuity is extremely important. Our home care service is built upon our values foundation, which includes nurturing stable and secure relationships.”

For the personnel, the work with customers will thus continue as previously. The employees and customers alike will encounter a company with a long history in promoting customer choice and extensive experience in providing care in people’s homes. Humana has provided personal assistance services throughout Sweden for 10 years.

The municipalities affected by the takeover are Falkenberg, Gävle, Jönköping, Karlstad, Kristianstad, Landskrona, Linköping, Nyköping, Sollentuna, Solna, Stockholm, Värnamo, Västerås and Ängelholm. Humana has to date been operating home care services in Kungälv, Båstad and Laholm.
