Humana will build a new elderly care home in Täby
Humana is building a new elderly care home in Täby with 90 apartments. It will be Humana's eleventh elderly care home under own management in Sweden.
The new housing will be constructed together with the property developer Hemgården. The real estate company Åke Sundvall AB will be landlord. It is Humana's first care home in Täby municipality, northeast of Stockholm. With its 90 much-needed elderly care apartments in a growing municipality, the unit will help to further increase the diversity and freedom of choice for Täby's elderly.
— Täby is a municipality that welcomes serious entrepreneurs who want to help solve the challenges within elderly care. It is therefore gratifying that we have now found a site that is centrally located and close to communications in Arninge, where we can build one of our nice elderly homes on, says Anders Broberg, Business Area Manager Elderly care.
The construction will start during this year and the operation is planned to start during the autumn 2022.

Together with large common areas to gather for activities, this creates well-being and a welcoming atmosphere. The ambition is also to certify the building at level Silver within the environmental certification system Miljöbyggnad. Humana will invest in both solar cells and charging posts for electric cars.
