Humana will build yet another elderly care home in Norrtälje
Humana is building another new elderly care home in Norrtälje with 60 apartments in Östhamra. It will be Humana's second accommodation under own management in the municipality and its fourth in Stockholm County.
Just a month ago it became clear that Humana will build an elderly care home in Norrtälje harbor. Now, a second unit in Norrtälje municipality will be built during the same period. This construction is carried out with SHH Samhällsfastigheter and Altura. The work will begin in the autumn of 2019 with a planned occupancy during the spring of 2021.
- The need for elderly care homes in Norrtälje is increasing sharply in the coming years. It is therefore very good that we can contribute with not only one but two really fine elderly care homes in the municipality, says Anders Broberg, Buiness Area Manager for Humana Elderly Care.
Humana elderly care homes offer a high-quality, individualized care, and the company has several residences that belong to the highest level of standard in Sweden.
There will be generous common areas to meet and have activities in, modern welfare technology such as Hanna's own lighting solution that helps the elderly to maintain the day/night rhythm but also rehab gym and a pleasant garden with a greenhouse. The building will also be environmentally certified with the designation silver and Humana will invest in solar cells and charging posts for electric cars.
- This second elderly care home in the municipality will also have the same high quality that Humanas' other elderly homes have. We simply build and operate elderly care homes as we would like to live ourselves, says Anders Broberg.
