Humana continues to grow in Finland
Humana acquires Matiimi, a child welfare service provider operating in Finland. The acquisition further strengthens Humana’s position as the leading provider of individual and family care in Finland and in the Nordic region.
Humana AB has entered an agreement to acquire all shares in Matiimi Oy, based in the Pirkanmaa region in Finland. The transfer will take place immediately and the operations of Matiimi will be included in Arjessa Oy, Humana’s Finnish subsidiary.
Matiimi offers therapeutic and rehabilitative services in three specialised treatment units for children and young people requiring specialised psychosocial care. The company also offers individualised outpatient care and family counselling services.
Revenues in Matiimi amounted to SEK 23 million in the fiscal year 2017/2018 and the company has approximately 30 employees.
